Health is your responsibility; however, today modern society bombards us with so much information about everything under the sun, it is sometimes hard to stop and think about what is truly important.

Your own health is one thing that every person needs to be concerned about. As the saying goes “You Are What You Eat”. That means whatever you put into your body via your mouth, veins or other means is what will be used or stored by the body. The results from the things you place in your body are your responsibility.

There are two important things that people should be careful about placing in their body: medications and foods, since neither of these two things may be healthy for the body.

For years people have depended on the medical system to relieve their aches and pains. Doctors have also been seen as people who look out for your health, while prescription drugs have always been accepted as safe forms of treatment.

Now after years of this trust, what have been the results?

Their chemical concoctions (medicines) are “manufactured” to not only relieve your pain and discomfort but to increasingly relieve you of your hard-earned money. Once hooked, your life on their drugs becomes more expensive with each newly added medication. And now the hard truth; health is your responsibility  not what others profess is best for you.

This large influx of people also causes another problem, who will take care of the people?

Since Boomers are leaving the workforce the smaller younger population is not able to replace all retirees. This is a worldwide problem since the boomers were part of the population boom after World War II.

At first, the problem may seem hopeless. You need to start getting healthy again. Sure, it wouldn’t be a quick fix, but slow is the safe way.
