How We Lose Our Physical Health
How We Lose Our Physical Health
The bases of our physical health started with toddlers, around the age of two. The large leg muscles are developed and the brain has mature to enable them to perform the series of actions necessary to walk upright.
The toddlers could now imitate the caregivers who were walking upright. It was a slow process of trials and falls and getting up to only fall again. Never giving up, the toddlers are finally able to take their first steps. And from then onward it is constant movement for the toddlers. All this activity builds up the main core system which leads to a life time of mobility for the individuals.
Through the next few years exercise keeps this core system strong. Then society takes over.
Society’s Part in Our Physical Health
The children enter the school system to learn how to strive in the adult work world. The first lesson that the children learn is how to sit still and not use their muscles. The golden rule is for the children to sit still and listen to the teacher who is teaching.
At first this is hard, so to relieve the pressure of squirming children, recess is allowed for the children to release all the penned up energy. By the end of the first six grades the children are able to tolerate all the required sitting for the educational process. Many children channel their energy into after school activities like sports.
After six more years the children will finish the basic education curriculum and may attend another four years of sitting and learning. At this point the children have reached the peak of their fitness.
Most people up to this point have done very little to keep in shape (healthy). Of course the person still moves, but this is just a maintenance type of exercise.
Once a job is secured there is more sitting and less exercise for health. Sure going to a gym is considered staying healthy, but it is still just a maintenance to keep the body moving.
Medical System Part of Our Physical Health
Of course, Medical System to the rescue. When the body starts to hurt, its off to the doctor for one of those great miracle pills (lab chemical mixtures) to relieve the pain. In a few minutes you feel great and ready to take on the world.
For anything serious the good old medical systems has you covered. You can live without a dysfunctional or diseased organ. It’s a quick cut and a few stitches and away you go along with a hand full of pills. And that is how you get hooked into the great Pharmaceutical Plan. A pill for life and a few dozen more added along the way. That is how to make millions and keep them hooked.
And we all owe it to our great American Society, where the almighty dollar rules, Power to the people with the money. Now, were does YOUR health fit into the picture? Society and the medical System doesn’t care.
